New TXA5-RCs Transmitter Board & RTX70-1s Plug and Play Transmitter
We have finished the design on a multi channel synthesized version of the popular TXA5-RCb 70cm >1 Watt peak envelope power ATV transmitter board which will eliminate the need for changing crystals and make it easier for those who want to package their own ATV transmitter or transceiver. We will offer the built and tested TXA5-RCs board for those who want to package their own system for home use, R/C, balloons, etc. The production sample transmitter board tested out great with 1.7 Watts pep the board is now in assembly. We are still on track for availability in late May. data sheet
Price of the TXA5-RCs built and tested board will be $179
The >1W 70cm plug and play RTX70-1s will be $399 and it looks like late May for first shipments. The new RTX chassis are in so the 100 mw 70, 33 and 23cm transmitters are available now...$349. The RTX70-1s uses the new TXA5-RCs board, FMA5-G sound board and TR-1b T/R relay board in a die cast aluminum box as shown for home use or at a repeater. Switch select 426.25, 427.25, 434.0 or 439.25 MHz with 421.25 optional if used at a repeater site with a VSB filter. New ATV Downconverters - In Stock
The new downconverters use a lower noise HJ-Fet (<.4 dB device) preamp stage for improved sensitivity and 5 switch selected synthesizer locked channels for accuracy and no temperature drift on the standard US ATV frequencies. We have the TVC-4S 70cm band for $149, TVC-9S 33cm band for $159 and TVC-12S 23cm band version for $159.
If you wish to upgrade, the boards are also available - 70cm for $99, 33cm and 23cm for $109 - and they fit the same mounting hole pattern as our previous models. The 10K tunning pot is replaced with a panel rotary switch or on board digiswitch for selecting the ATV channel.
The ATVR S version receivers also use the new downconverter board.

New 5 Watt Videolynx 70cm ATV Transmitter - in design
We are working with Videolynx in the development of a new 5 Watt 70cm ATV Transmitter. The prototype was promised to me for testing last October, but Videolynx wants to make another prototype with some improvements first and he has been tied up on other projects. Latest estimate is to have the prototype to me by the end of February. This transmitter, along with our TVC-4S downconveter will take the place of our TC70-20Sa Transceiver. Our last TC70-20Sa ATV Transceiver was shipped in mid April and we are unable to make any more because the M57716 20 watt power module is no longer made. RF Parts is only selling their remaining stock of this power module to individuals a few at a time for replacement purposes. The new transmitter will have sync stretching and power adjustment so as to be able to drive the Downeast 70225PA or Mirage D1010N-ATV and D100N-ATV amplifiers for maximum pep output and video linearity.
Videolynx will also have a new 23cm FM ATV transmitter come out about the same time using the same new enclosure.
Check back to this page for info and availability as we get it.
