NEW for 2010
Last update January 2, 2010

VM-70X transmitter We are working on a new 30 Watt 70cm ATV transmitter - TX70-30
Check back here monthly for progress

Frankly, until the economy and demand improves, we will not make a production run of new or current products. You might consider a used product of ours available on eBay or other sources - TC70-10 or -20, etc. Our manufactured ATV products do have a reputation for longevity and we can email to you the manual or data sheet on most. We can repair or service any of the P. C. Electronics packaged gear for $80 plus parts cost - download our Repair Autorization form.

However, we do have stock on the Videolynx VM-70X 5W 70cm transmitter, Z70A and 434 modules to get you on right away. Download our app note on the VM-70X 5 Watt ATV transmitter which includes packaging this module in a die cast aluminum box for home and portable use, or adding a fan for R/C, robot, rocket and balloon applcations.

packaged transmitter with VM-70X module The Videolynx VM-70X is a compact transmitter module that accepts line level audio and video, 11 to 14Vdc and has adjustable RF output from 0 to 5 Watts on 4 digiswitch selectalbe frequencies - 426.25, 427.25, 434.0 and 439.25 MHz. This app note describes for home or portable use, packaging the VM-70X along with the mic amp and deviation compressor section of the FMA5-G sound board and TR-1b T/R relay boards in a Hammond 1590D (7.4x4.7x2.1") diecast aluminum box. Total cost of the parts list is about $360.

2.4 gHz FM ATV Receiver Now With 16 Channels

The 13FMR-1 receiver now comes with 16 channels. The primary channels - 2398, 2417, 2430 and 2441.5 MHz - used in the USA and in our 1 Watt 2400VH-1 FM ATV transmitter, are still selected by flipping up just one of the 4 front panel digiswitchs to the up position, but if you want one of the other 12, it is a combination of the 4 switches. We programmed in all of the center frequencies we found in the ARRL Repeater Directory and other sources:
2407, 2410, 2413, 1418, 2420, 2425, 2428, 2432, 2433, 2434, 2435 and 2442 MHz
Since FM ATV occupies at least 17 MHz bandwidth, the AFC in the receiver will lock on within a few MHz, but we can program in any other 13cm ham band frequency for $25.

The receiver comes with 12V regulated wall plug power supply (draws 250 mA with 12 to 14 Vdc), SMA whip antenna, A/V cord and SMA male to type N female adaptor. Size .8 x 3.2 x 5 inches and weighs 5oz. Imported and modified by us for the ham band only. Standard sound subcarrier frequency is 5.5 MHz but we can modify for other frequencies for $10 additional. Set up is for 1 Vp-p video out with the US standard 4 MHz deviation and no de-emphasis. You can add pre-emphasis and de-emphasis with our PEK and DEK kit.

13FMR-1 receiver

13FMR-1 2.4 gHz FM ATV Receiver price is $179

HOW TO ORDER:
Call 626-447-4565 Monday through Thursday between 8 AM and 5:30 PM Pacific time with your Visa or Mastercard ready and list of model numbers. Orders called before noon Pacific time usually ship the same day. Or you can download our Order Form, fill it out and postal mail or email it back to us.

We only accept Visa, Mastercard ($25 minumum credit card order), money order or check with the order. Checks must be in US dollars drawn on a USA bank and except for US Postal Money Orders, shipment waits 3 weeks for the check to clear.

We do no billing. Absolutely no purchase orders, pro-forma invoices, formal quotes, bank transfers, etc. - our price structure is set up for the least cost sales directly to individual licensed radio amateurs.
Government agencies buying ATV gear from us for their ARES, RACES or Homeland Security Emergency Communications group need to download and have the Responsible Ham fill out the form and send to us before shipment. Click on Sales Policies for all our sales policies.

You must be a FCC licensed radio amateur to legally operate our equipment in the USA, therefore we only sell to and support licensed radio amateurs with few exceptions such as city and state emergency communications groups, Amembassy AFRTS, or other legal uses - see Legal uses and FCC Rules.

Licensed radio amateurs need to use their personal credit card, not that of a third party. If the card is owned (the entity that pays the card bills) by a business or government agency, download the Responsible Ham form.
If the card owner is outside the USA and not a ham, download the Foreign End User form.

Only email requests by licensed radio amateurs for lost manuals of our equipment will be honored.
Email requests must include your call letters, model number, revision letter and year as etched on the board.
Call or email if you need trouble shooting help with our manufactured gear.
If you need an item repaired by us, download, fill out and include with the item our Repair Authorization form.
